NEWS & MEDIA

Last month saw our first circus camp and it was great, we had a wonderful group of people working with us and it was magical. We also did our first production of The Last Fairy and The Black Crow Queen. As the sun set, well actually as I am saying that, there was no sun setting on the first night as there was a crazy storm but it only added to the dark tale (we have a storm on the sound track and that night we didn’t need it!)

When sitting down to watch a show you don’t get to see the months leading up to that show.

So here is a little journey in to the writing of The Last Fairy and the Black Crow Queen.

Stories for us arrive, I know that may sound weird but we don’t sit down to write them.

I had an image in my head as to how The Black Crow Queen looked, she wasn’t pretty and without giving too much away she represents all things bad.

See image below.

I also had to learn to bend with the wind as I so wanted to put the crow on my head but it seemed impossible, as it kept falling off.
